We may use the details you provide to respond to enquiries, arrange and manage free-class bookings, send booking confirmations or reminders, record attendance and follow-up outcomes, discuss suitability for Martial Arts or Re-Energise, keep a basic record of communication where appropriate, and improve public website clarity.

Sensitive information

Please avoid sending highly sensitive personal, medical or therapeutic information through general website or email contact unless it is necessary. Deeper personal matters are best discussed directly with John in the appropriate setting.

Sharing information

Information is not sold. It may be shared only where needed to respond to an enquiry, operate website or email services, or where required by law.

Third-party processors

We use trusted third-party services to run the academy platform: Supabase for account data and login, Stripe for payment processing (Stripe never shares full card details with us), and Resend for transactional email delivery. Each processes information only as needed to provide their service to us.

Location data

Members may optionally use a gym check-in feature that requests your device's location to confirm you are at the academy. This is opt-in only, is not requested automatically, and location data is used solely to confirm check-in — it is not used for tracking or shared with third parties beyond what's needed to operate the feature.

Website analytics and cookies

This website uses essential technologies for login and platform security. If optional analytics is configured, it only loads after you allow analytics in the public-site cookie banner. You can decline optional analytics without affecting academy login or member access.

How long information is kept

Enquiry and free-class booking information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to manage the visit and appropriate follow-up, unless a longer period is required for legitimate administrative, safeguarding, legal or safety reasons. You can ask us about retention or request deletion where applicable.
