Martial Arts membership payments

Martial Arts membership is a recurring monthly payment collected on the 1st of each month. Cancellation requires one full billing month of notice. If you cancel on the day that month's payment is collected, that paid month is your notice period. If you cancel after the collection date, the normal payment for the following month remains due and membership ends at the close of that following paid month. For example, a payment collected on 1 September followed by a cancellation on 9 September means the normal October payment remains due and membership ends on 31 October. Contact the academy if you need help with your membership or payment date.

Digital programmes and instant access

Paid digital programmes may provide access immediately after payment. Before checkout, customers are asked to request immediate supply and acknowledge that cancellation rights may change once digital content is supplied. This does not affect statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise protected by consumer law.

“Yours for life” and one-off payments

Some products, including Imposter Freedom and Warrior Dad, are offered for a single one-off payment described as “yours for life”. This means access for as long as John McKean Academy continues to operate that product and the platform it runs on — it is not a promise that stands independently of the academy itself continuing to exist and function. If a product or the wider platform is ever discontinued, retired, or the academy is no longer able to operate it (for example because of John's death or incapacity, insolvency, or a technical failure that cannot reasonably be recovered from), reasonable notice will be given wherever practical, and affected customers will be offered a fair remedy such as a data export, a transfer to a successor platform, or a partial refund reflecting how recently the purchase was made. This does not affect any statutory rights customers have under consumer protection law.

Warrior Dad launch pricing

Warrior Dad launch discounts are limited by the number of completed redemptions shown at checkout. The platform applies the best available configured launch discount automatically. If a launch allocation has been used, the next available or standard price is shown before payment is completed.
